I've been here a few times before and have really enjoyed it. Went back again last night and I wasn't disappointed. I was nervous after reading so many recent negative reviews but I wanted to see for myself.
The wait staff was friendly and attentive. We didn't feel rushed at all, thy were very diligent about moving the empty plates off the tables to make room, I think that may be what some recent reviewers may have mistaken for rushing or hovering.
The food was fantastic as always, we did the all you can eat menu and had a couple apps and a few rolls. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The place was very clean and extremely busy.
One person I saw complained about the empty fish tank upon entering, but it is really a water wall that is in the process of either being fixed or removed.
The only thing I don't like about coming here is the parking lot, that is where people hover and stalk you until you leave! -

My classmate and I found our sushi spot to celebrate finishing finals at the end of every semester. We got Spicy white tuna w/avocado, spicy salmon roll, mango avocado roll, spicy tuna w/mango and spicy salmon on top, salmon lover roll, and butterfly (left to right in the picture).
The inside of the restaurant was really nice. I loved how the booths were set up, it gave it a cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was attentive and checked in on us regularly. They had a great variety of appetizers. We got fried calamari, Kani salad, spicy seaweed salad, and crabmeat tempura. The sushi was delicious, the fish tasted very fresh and the mangoes in the rolls were amazing.
We ended dinner with green tea ice cream and it was heavenly. I can't wait to go back next semester! -

This restaurant is really just okay. Not somewhere I would intentionally visit again. First the parking lot can get full especially on a weekend. It's byob which is a plus.
I ordered the all you can eat sushi, they make everyone order on the same sheet. So go with the intention to all share. When you try to order your own thing it can get confusing with the all you eat menu. The sushi itself wasn't bad. Not anything I'm dying to have again. The appetizers on the all you can eat menu is a little skimpy. We ordered rock shrimp and crispy calamari and they only served 4 individual pieces
The service is ok. I felt a little rushed at some points it seems like they try to have people in and out.
Overall the food is okay if you're in the area -

We were caught in a New York Layover and were trying to find a sushi restaurant without having to drive into the city. Sushi village was the one!
The Restaurant
It might just be because we weren't from around the area that the location was close to the airport, but just with side streets, it felt like it took forever to get there. The restaurant itself if spacious and nicely decorated. The seating is really roomy as well. We went for lunch to snag their all you can eat deal, and it there were a few other people there and they seemed to be well staffed. The only thing I did not approve of at all, was large fish being kept in a very small tank, not ethical at all.
The Service
We were seated promptly to arrival and didn't have to wait long for our drink order to come out. It was a little odd that the whole table had to put in their order on one filled out menu. It made it difficult because all of the rolls came out in random order and on shared plates. That's no big deal for sharing but it makes things a little difficult when there's a food allergy at the table and you have no idea what each roll is.
The Food
Overall, I think the fish was okay. Their lunch selection was not outstanding, meaning they did not have all of the fish I normally would order at an all you can eat. I was also not a fan that you can not order sashimi or sushi off of the lunch menu, pretty much just rolls. Out of all the rolls, there were only a couple that I did not like at all, one of them being a roll with lettuce?
Overall
If you're in a pinch and just need to itch a craving for sushi, this place will get the job done. If we were in town longer, I would have loved trying their dinner just so I could try the overall quality of their fish alone, but I would give it a go just to say you've tried something outside of the city! -

Sushi Village is located on a corner with a small parking garage in the back. The inside is pretty spacious there's seats in the front and then more by the sushi bar.
My sister and I got the all you can eat dinner menu for $23 each. We started off with miso soup &.m a veggie spring roll. For the sushi we ordered sweet potato, mango avocado, shrimp tempura and veggie tempura with a side of spicy mayo... YUM! The sushi portions are very generous as well. For dessert, they have vanilla, green tea & red bean ice cream as well as Oreo tempura (fried Oreos).
The service is super fast paced they make sure your order is placed, water cups are filled, plates are clear, etc. There were times where I felt rushed but it was fine since we had somewhere else to go. We walked out of the restaurant in 30 minutes! Will come back for a fast all you can eat sushi spot!
